Eric Wurzelbacher’s style has been described by Jazz Journal UK as a “foot-tapping mix of hard-bop improv and rock.” Wurzelbacher’s group made its first national appearance at the Newport Jazz Festival in 2019. As a leader and composer, he has released six albums of original music.
