Dana Robbins’ early years were spent at Berklee College of Music in Boston. She then traveled to LA, and a year later was hired to play with Barry Manilow. She was also hired as Band Leader for the Chuck Woolery Daytime Talk Show and performed on Soul Train with Phillip Bailey (EWF). She played with Roger Daltrey, John Mayall, and recorded with the Tower of Power horns section. (couldn’t find Doc that day!)

Moving to Nashville, she has played and recorded for Delbert McClinton, Keb’Mo and Steve Cropper. Playing live with Aretha Franklin, Taj Mahal, Keith Urban, Chris Stapleton, Jennifer Hudson, Felix Cavaliere, and The McCrary sisters.

At Rudy’s she brings the great music of the B3 organ/ Tenor sax recordings; Jimmy Smith, Shirley Scott, Jimmy McGriff, Joey DeFrancesco and Charles Earland. Also featuring the music of Les McCann &Eddie Harris and her original music.
